What does the future of our food look like? Explore new flavours and ingredients, as chefs and scientists whip up dishes that you can sample right there and then!
Nourish your mind and body through a variety of cookery demos at the Future Food Live kitchen and witness the latest culinary creations and techniques, as chefs create dishes that you can sample on the spot. Learn how to make meals for not only a healthy body and wallet, but also for a healthy planet.
Challenge yourself to try one of our climate-friendly plates, learn how to improve your gut health in the tastiest ways or pop over to find out how AI could help us eat healthier in the future.
Saturday and Sunday:
12.00-12.45 Grantham's Climate-Friendly Food Demo - Explore new flavours and ingredients and learn how to make meals for a healthy body and a healthy planet.
13.15-14.00 Robochef vs Disease - Learn new recipes as you discover how artificial intelligence and innovative technologies are changing the way we understand the link between diet and disease.
14.30-15.15 Cooking for a Healthy Gut - Find out what the science says about a healthy gut and explore ways to boost your gut health through what you eat.
15.45-16.30 From Scraps to Savoury - Nourish your mind and body whilst picking up top tips for busting food waste with this cooking demo brought to you by the Nourish Hub.
17.00-18.00 The Art of Fermentation Workshop - Learn how to make your own sauerkraut and get practical tips to improve your gut health.
There are limited spaces to make your own sauerkraut. These spaces are given out on a first-come, first-served basis. If you don't get a spot, you are still welcome to watch, learn and sample!

Future Food Live can be found at location number 21 on the Festival Map.
This is a drop in event that is most suitable for ages 14+. This event has step-free access on Imperial College Road.
