Join Iya London for a fascinating walking tour exploring the hidden contributions of Victorian women to the architecture and design of South Kensington.

Discover how they helped shape this renowned arts and science district—and why their stories remain largely untold. You'll also explore the differing representations of men and women in public spaces. This thought-provoking walk will change the way you see South Kensington!

Tours will run at 13.30-–4.15 and 15.30–16.15 on both Saturday and Sunday.

Visitor information

This is a drop-in event that is suitable for adults only (18+). 

The tour starts from the Great Exhibition Road Festival Tours tent, located at the north end of Exhibition Road. The walk will be approximately 1.5 miles and participants can remain entirely on paved surfaces if required, with no steps anticipated.
