Paint Lab 2025

Creativity and science collide as one of London's most famous roads is turned into a giant canvas. Returning to the Great Exhibition Road Festival for its third year, ‘Paint Lab’ will see Exhibition Road transformed into a colour-filled art gallery for the weekend, as 10 London artists create artworks in real time.

The pieces will be inspired by conversations with Imperial College London scientists working on range of projects linked to how humans, the animal kingdom, and engineering marvels we have built, sense the world around them. From the science of touch to the possibilities of 3D sound and our ability to see through the layers of the sun, we can't wait to see how this year's artists bring these stories to life with paint.
