Come and explore the amazing world of prosthetics and discover how technology helps people move again after injury. Watch a prosthetic being 3D printed before your eyes, feel real prosthetic limbs and implants, and even try walking with a special prosthetic leg!

After that you a ready to get creative in our prosthetic design challenge—what would your dream prosthetic look like? Our friendly team of scientists and engineers from the Musculoskeletal Mechanics Laboratory will be there to answer your questions.

This hands-on activity is part of the Be a Scientist Zone, where you can take part in real research and help shape the future of exciting new technology.

This is a drop-in event for all ages.

The event has step free-access and accessible toilets are available.
