By taking inspiration from nature, material scientists and engineers are designing new materials to improve our lives. Join Dr Eleonora D'Elia and students from Imperial’s Materials department to interact with a range of hands-on stimulating activities utilising Gecko Tape, Liquid Crystals, pressure sensor light activators, polarisers, and self-healing and shape-memory materials. Together the team hope to spark curiosity about the world of materials science and how fundamental it is for our future in a sustainably shaped-world.
