Discover how beautiful 3D models of nature are used by scientists to understand it, and inspire how we protect it.

The Natural History Museum is home to state of the art 3D scanners and technology that allow scientists to study nature in more detail than ever before. The Museum strives for a world where both people and planet can thrive. To do that we use our collections and technology to understand more about the natural world. In this interactive exhibit, discover how the museum creates beautiful 3D models using sophisticated scanners and printers, and how these models can be crucial in helping scientists understand more about the natural world and how to better protect it.

This is a drop in event suitable for families with children aged 5+. The event has step-free access.
